Nuvation engineers work on projects combining digital and analog board-level electronic designs, large and small

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Analog Engineer to be involved in a variety of projects. This position will require
significant background in multiple areas, particularly analog and mixed-signal design. Projects will involve
designs areas such as high speed data acquisition, low noise power supplies, active/passive filters, control
systems, and signal integrity analysis. Our rapid hardware development cycle at Nuvation provides a unique
and challenging opportunity to apply a variety of skills, making for a fulfilling and interesting employment
opportunity. This position is for senior level analog engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic system design and architecture definition
- Data acquisition design (Analog to Digital conversion, filter design)
- Board–level component selection, circuit design
- Analog circuit design, Power Supply design, Microwave design, RF design
- System Integration and Signal Integrity
- Design review and consultation across many board designs
Requirements:
- 10+ years working experience in Analog designs
- Experience with passive and active filter designs
- Experience with low noise and high accuracy designs
- Technical leadership and Project Management a plus
- Proficient in Board Design tools such as OrCAD and DxDesigner
- Intimate knowledge of PCB layout techniques and standards
- Experience with RF design tools
- Experience with Signal Integrity – Hyperlynx, Allegro Sl
- Experience with Analog simulation – PSPICE
- Experience working with High speed digital (1 to 10GHz)
- Experience with EMC compliance testing (FCC, UL, CE)
