Alan Lattanner joins Nuvation Labs as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development San Jose, Calif., October 5, 1999 — Nuvation Labs Corporation today announced Alan Lattanner’s appointment as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Founder of firmware firm Eqqua in Fremont, Lattanner has over 20 years of management, marketing, and business development experience in high technology and consulting. "Adding Alan to our team is an excellent win for Nuvation as we take the company to the next level," said Michael Worry, CEO of Nuvation Labs Corporation. “Alan's wealth of experience in marketing and product management will be invaluable to positioning Nuvation as a comprehensive and flexible engineering resource. Customers like Hewlett-Packard, Trimble Navigation, Liquid Audio, and Lucent Technologies recognize that our unique service helps them quickly and efficiently gain access to new technologies and markets. Alan will communicate that message to leading companies worldwide." Lattanner will provide marketing leadership and manage the operations of the marketing and business development department. Before joining Nuvation he managed product and Web development for Eqqua, and directed business development for a global consulting firm. He began his career as the first geophysicist in oil-giant UNOCAL's geothermal division, responsible for automated data acquisition, signal processing, and geophysical exploration worldwide. Lattanner has an M.S. in engineering science and a B.S. in economic geology from U.C. Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.
