Nuvation Labs expands to the Great White North San Jose, Calif., August 1, 2000 — Nuvation Labs Corporation today announced their expansion to Canada (the Great White North). Nuvation Labs has been experiencing exceptional business growth in both the Embedded Systems and eCommerce business units, and is ready to expand to a new location. Canada was selected for its available engineering talent, lower operating costs, and familiar culture. Several current Nuvation Labs employees and executives are originally from Canada, and are familiar with the selected area. The new office will be located in Downsview, Ontario, close to the Pearson International Airport and Toronto, Ontario. This location places Nuvation Labs at the hub of industry and innovation in Canada. The new office, being referred to as the "Nuvation Labs Canadian Design Centre", will be initially involved with Embedded Systems project work, expanding into eCommerce projects in the coming year. Current openings exist for qualified digital hardware engineers. Nuvation Labs will continue to maintain and expand its substantial presence in Silicon Valley, with all sales, marketing, and corporate activities taking place in the San Jose offices.
