Nuvation Announces New Vice President of Sales and Marketing San Jose, Calif., October 21, 1999 — Nuvation Labs Corporation, a leader in embedded systems engineering design, today announced that Chris Hallahan will join the Nuvation management team as vice president of sales and marketing where he will oversee all aspects of sales, marketing, and business development for Nuvation. Nuvation will use two of its key strengths in firmware solutions, e-commerce development and enterprise n-tier architecture, to engineer the kiosk system, and is working intensely to provide a rapid time to market. Before joining Nuvation, Hallahan was the vice president of sales and marketing for YVOD, a Berkeley, CA-based e-services firm. At YVOD, Hallahan was responsible for building strategic partnerships, marketing, and sales of ebusiness back-end solutions. Prior to that Hallahan held several high-level positions within Xerox Corp including worldwide marketing manager for Xerox' production color division and marketing ops for Xerox' North American field sales force. "We are excited to find someone of Chris' caliber to supplement our experienced management team," said Nuvation CEO Michael Worry. "We believe that Chris' multidisciplinary experience, accomplished sales and marketing background, and deep technical knowledge makes him an exceptional candidate to lead our growth to the next level."
