12/05/03: Nuvation enters into partnership with Lattice Semiconductor
Nuvation today announced that it has entered into a formal partnership with Lattice Semiconductor as a Lattice-certified Consultant. Nuvation has completed many successful designs with Lattice FPGAs and CPLDs since inception and is now recognized by Lattice among the select group of approved consultants in the Lattice directory.

The Lowest-Cost Ethernet-Over-SONET Solution for OC-48 Applications: Nuvation introduces the GEOS 2+2, a licensable FPGA IP Core that multiplexes and de-multiplexes two Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) data streams plus two Fast Ethernet (FE) channels into a single OC-48 channel.

8/6/03: Nuvation joins Intel PCI-Express Developers Network
Nuvation announced today that it joined Intel's PCI-Express Developers Network. Nuvation is supporting several OEM designs for PCI-Express-based architectures with Electronics Design Services and Signal Integrity Analysis. Nuvation may also introduce its own PCI-Express Intellectual Property in the future.

Nuvation announced today that it has joined the Intel PCA Developers Network to support wireless product designs based on Intel PCA processors and Baseband chipsets. The Network supports wireless device and equipment manufacturers, application developers and service providers in these key areas:

Tools and technical support for Intel PCA building blocks

Nuvation announced today that revenue for the first half of 2003 exceeded projections and that the company continues to see strong growth in the market for outsourced Electronic Design Services. Details were not publicly disclosed.

4/23/03: Nuvation unveils CycloneBot at Embedded Systems Conference
CycloneBot, the newest heavyweight robot designed by CM Robotics and Nuvation, made its debut today at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco. CycloneBot is a combat robot which spins at 600-rpm and sports titanium blades that travel over 100 mph on a 220-pound spinning carbon fiber and titanium robot frame. The brain of the robot is powered by Altera's Cyclone device and Nios® soft-core processor. |

2/28/03: Nuvation Closes Bridge Financing Round
Nuvation announced today that it closed a Bridge Financing leading to its Series A. The Bridge Round was oversubscribed by 50%. Proceeds will be used for IP development, working capital and to complete the spin-off of Nuvation from its former parent, IAR Systems. The Bridge Financing will convert to Series A shares upon the completion of the Series-A Offering. |

2/11/03: Nuvation Presents at Concept-to-Cash Flow Seminar
Nuvation's CEO, Michael Worry, presented today at the Concept-to-Cash Flow seminar hosted by AllOpsTech at the Santa Clara Marriott. The purpose of the seminar was to share outsourcing strategies for all aspects of New Product Introduction including engineering, supply chain management, and manufacturing. Dr. Tim Stoltz was featured as the keynote presenter. AllOpsTech, a leader in operations outsourcing, moderated the event. Other presenters included Rock Solid Design (PCB Layout services), Pycon (Electronics Manufacturing services), Arena Solutions (Document Management), Expandable Software (Front Office/Back Office systems), and Symphony Consulting (Supply Chain optimization).
