As technology for live video streaming has evolved over the past few years, the video surveillance / security market is undergoing dramatic change. There are millions of surveillance cameras installed in a variety of applications. Border security, building entrances, ATM machines, casinos, retail stores, traffic intersections, trains, school buses, ships, civil and military aircraft, even automobiles. Traditional cameras output analog NTSC video over a BNC connector, which is viewed, recorded, and stored in digital systems.
