Hike for a Cure 2004: Practice Hikes
Leading upto the hike in Yosemite on Sunday, September 19, 2004, the following practice hikes are scheduled to get the group into tip-top shape. You're invited!
May 16 - Bay to Breakers, San Francisco
Meet at Belmont train station at 6:00am
June 13, 12:00 noon - Big Basin Redwood State Park
Take hwy 9 west from Skyline blvd. and turn west on Hwy 236.
The southern access is from Boulder Creek
June 26, 9:00 am - The Windy Hill Loop Trail
Hwy 280, exit Alpine Road west to Portola Road-turn right
Entrance in on the left side of the road.
July 10, 9:00 am - San Antonio Park
Mountain View / Los Altos Foothills
July 25, 12:00 noon - St Joseph's Hill Open Space Preserve
Meet at Los Gatos Brewing Company on Main Street
Aug. 7 - Mt. Shasta
