06/19/08 - Orlando, FL: Nuvation introduced Air-HockeyBot, a robot that plays air hockey, at the annual Freescale Technology Forum, and won the 'People's Choice Award' for best innovation. Air-HockeyBot utilizes advanced algorithms developed by Nuvation for puck motion estimation, game strategy, and visual field distortion correction. The intelligence is implemented on custom hardware developed by Nuvation featuring Freescale Coldfire and 9S08 microprocessors. Watch the video:
