DiscoFish Raises Money For Education

DiscoFish made its first appearance of 2013 last week, in support of the annual auction benefiting the Peninsula School. In keeping with the Hoedown theme of the event, The Fish donned some snazzy country duds.

In addition to being the centerpiece of the evening’s festivities, tickets were auctioned for a party to be held at Nuvation HQ later this year. The tickets were the top-fetching item of the entire event, raising thousands of dollars to support the school’s mission of promoting creativity, independence, and joy of learning.

Supporting children’s education and encouraging independent thinking is a cause that is near and dear to Nuvation. Says CEO Michael Worry “Fundamentally, society gets what it celebrates. DiscoFish is a celebration of creation, a toast to creativity, a smile to the engineers and builders of the world. From it, I dream that we’ll show our children what is possible, for it is way beyond what is normal. “

If the cries of “Michael, Michael, can we help you set up the Fish??” were any indication, it’s a message that got across loud and clear.
